Loading / Unloading of Items at Loading Bay

Dedicated loading bays are made available on Level 4 and Level 6 of the Convention Centre. Suntec Singapore reserves the loading bays for usage by goods vehicles such as vans and lorries only. For directions to loading bays please refer to Technical Guide [Venue].

Vehicles are only permitted to use the bays for loading/unloading activities for a maximum duration of 20 minutes per vehicle. For safety reasons, storage of items is not allowed unless permission is granted in advance. To apply for storage, please use AP-012 Loading Bay Storage Permit.

Loading bay allocation will be reflected in the licensing agreement and event organisers should share this information with all delivery contractors and freight forwarders prior to the event. Suntec Singapore can only accept delivery of items during the licensed period. Delivery companies and freight forwarders attempting to access loading bays before or after the licensed period will be declined entry.

Moving Items within the Centre

Suntec Singapore allows all delivery and freight forwarding companies using goods vehicles to access loading bays. Suntec Singapore recommends that official freight forwarders are appointed to move large and heavy items that cannot be pushed on a trolley and require the usage of a forklift or pallet jack. At the discretion of the event organiser and with the appropriate implemented precautions (such as marshalling, signage, and security), vendors and exhibitors can drive their trucks and items directly into the halls.
