When constructed and maintained effectively, scaffolding is an effective control measure for persons working at heights (WAH). Venue regulations require all scaffolding structures to be erected by a certified scaffolding worker. 

All persons WAH should be properly equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). For structures over 3 metres in height, WAH permit is required. Please apply using Permit to Work.

In addition, for structures over 4 metres in height, the Centre requires the event organiser to submit technical drawings endorsed by a professional engineer (PE).
